Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was huge, especially for Europe, spacious, and clean, but lacking bathrobes and water initially, requiring two requests at reception. Despite this, the room had everything one would need, and a lovely chocolate Santa on the pillow added a festive touch. The service, while mostly super friendly and helpful, had a hiccup with a false claim about the closing time of the lobby. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the central railway station, but affected by a demo march that disrupted access routes. The dining experience was of good quality but with better options available elsewhere, and the breakfast offered a varied choice of items. The hotel facilities were generally satisfying, although some essential amenities were missing, like a source of drinks in the relaxation area and a centrifuge for drying swimwear.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was spacious and allowed for the extra bed we needed, but there were cleanliness issues with a really dirty glass in the minibar and the area under the bed. The carpeting, instead of wooden flooring, was not to my liking. The service was pleasant overall, with a charming staff member diffusing a small conflict. The location was superb, just a short walk from key areas, though disrupted by a demonstration closing nearby roads. The dining experience was average, with room for improvement in the quality of the food. However, the dining area being adjacent to the entrance was convenient. Overall, the facilities met basic needs, but there were no standout features.
The hotel offers very spacious and comfortable rooms at a bit of a high price. The service was a mix of nice gestures and some issues with entering rooms without knocking. The location is superb, conveniently close to important landmarks and the central station. The dining options were good overall but could improve in certain areas like pastries. Overall, a top central location with some service quirks and room for dining enhancement.
The hotel offered spacious rooms with a divider, allowing for the extra bed we needed. While the room lacked a view and appeared more rundown than expected, it still provided ample space for our stay.
